Our Founding Story (2013 E.C.)
Nisir Football Academy was established in 2013 E.C. (during the COVID-19 pandemic period) in Adama at Manafesha Meda. When schools closed and students were confined at home, the founders recognized the heavy psychological strain, anxiety, and idle screen time burdening local youth.
Under strict health precautions and hygiene protocols, Coach Fisha Welde Meskel gathered a passionate initial cohort of young players to train on the pitch. Football became a sanctuary for mental health, physical vitality, and communal hope.
While the academy emblem preserves the historical "Since 2012" foundational roots, official team operations and structured youth cohort training at Manafesha Meda commenced in 2013 E.C. (2020 G.C.) during the COVID-19 pandemic.
